Emmanuel Okello

Emmanuel “Emma” Okello is the focal point of the Nkumba Beach Boys attack and the team’s all-time leading scorer. Operating as the pivot, he uses his strength and back-to-goal play to hold up possession on the soft sand before unleashing trademark overhead bicycle finishes that have become a signature of the Nkumba shoreline.

Raised in Entebbe, a stone’s throw from Lake Victoria, Okello grew up playing barefoot beach football before joining the university programme in 2019. His aerial ability and composure in the sand box have made him a constant pre-season transfer target, but his loyalty to the Sea Eagles has never wavered.

Off the field, Emmanuel mentors junior players through the Nkumba Foundation’s grassroots beach soccer camps and is studying for a degree in Business Administration.
